Steel tube that expands inner surface area and enhances heat transferability. Inner finned tube or internally-finned tube is heat transfer pipe with fins formed on the inside.
Such flat and smooth tubes have a larger internal surface area compared to smooth pipe (formal steel pipes with a circular cross section) and possess superior heat transferability.
Finned tubes are used in applications involving the transfer of heat from a hot fluid to a colder fluid through a tube wall.
The rate at which such heat transfer can occur depends on three factors:
1- The temperature difference between two fluids
2- The heat transfer coefficient between each of the fluids and tube wall.
3- The surface area to which each fluid is exposed.
By extending the surface of heat transferring performance, compared with the normal smooth tube, heat transferring coefficient of inner finned tube can be increased 3-4 times.
In fact, inner finned tube is our strength, one long-time customer uses our pipes for heat transfer device that cools insulation oil in electrical transformer
