ASTM A192 for seamless carbon boiler tube for high-pressure service.
This standard covers tubes 1/2 inch to 7 inch (12.7~177.8) mm
with thickness 0.085 inch to 1 inch (2.2~25.4) mm
A192 tubes shall be made by the seamless process and shall be either hot-finished or cold finished.
Hot-finished tubes need not be heat treat.
Cold-finished tubes shall be heat treated after the final cold -finished at temperature of 1200 F (650 C) or higher.
A192 steel pipe should be test according to ASTM standard
